Double Track: GES to use phone calls to monitor students
The Ghana Education Service says it will adopt innovative means to monitor the performance of students who will be home while their colleagues are in school. Public Relations Officer, Cassandra Twum Ampofo, says the Service is also considering placing phone calls to the students to find out how they are coping and provide assistance where necessary. This would, however, happen after the candidates have successfully gone through the admission process and have been provided with some academic materials, Ms. Twum Ampofo told Super Morning Show host, Daniel Dadzie, Thursday. Some 423,134 candidates who sat for this year’s Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) and successfully made it under the 2018 Computerised School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS), have been placed into their choice of Senior High Schools.
