A Ugandan tycoon known as  Jack Pemba  has been accused of releasing a sex tape with his ex-lover and popular socialite,  Honey Suleman , which has gone viral online. Honey, a city businesswoman in Uganda has since reacted to the sex tape. In a long Facebook post, seen on Edge.UG, she claimed that her ex-has been threatening her and her family members with the sex tape. She said Pemba had told them to pay $5,000 to withhold the video clip. She wrote: ‘I know about the video and my whole family is aware of it. If Jack Pemba felt like it was okay to share our intimate moment when we were both in love, I have nothing to do about it. He is an old and mature man and am sure he had his own intentions leaking it. IMF Releases $236m To Ghana In May

The IMF is likely to release an amount of two hundred andthirty-six million dollars ($236,000,000) to Ghana under the agreement with the Fund, by the first week of May thisyear. This comes on the heels of the IMF mission’s review of Ghana’s performance, last month (March). The facility will be the 5th and 6th disbursements under the economic support program. Officials say, this forms part of the highlights at this year’s spring meetings of the IMF/World Bank in Washington, DC. Under the programme, Ghana had to shove down its throat some bitter pills so as to maintain tight fiscal discipline, without sacrificing growth. The bail out programme has been extended to April 2019 ,from an initial deadline of April 2018, after the NPP government agreed to an extension of the program. The fund is giving the country over $918 million to support its current account which is necessary for stabilising the local currency and control the shocks in theeconomy. Traditional leaders in the Bia District of the Western Region have threatened to order their youth to beat up politicians who will come to the area to campaign for votes in any upcoming elections. “I Would’ve Shot Fusseini Lawal Dead If I Were The MMT Boss” – Kennedy Agyapong

Maverick Politician and Member of Parliament for Assin South, Ken Agyapong has said he would have shot to death the Security Coordinator of Metro Mass Transit (MMT) Company if he were to be the Managing Director, Bennet Aboagye. According to the financier of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), he would have made the Security Coordinatorpay dearly with his life, if he were to be the one whose privacy was invaded. The Security Coordinator, Fusseini Lawal Laah has confessed to bugging the office of the MMT Boss, Bennet Aboagye by secretly installing a recording device. Mr Lawal had alleged that he had an audio recording of a conversation in which the managing director and others colluded to dupe the company through the procurement of300 buses.
