The Lassi Community in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality today received their fair share of the new toilet facility as Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh, MCE for Lower Manya Krobo Municipality broke grounds for the construction of a modern 20 seater WC toilet facility with 4 bathrooms for the area. This short sod cutting ceremony was observed in the early hours of today as the elders and natives of the area gathered to witness this memorable day. Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh in an interview with our team stated that he is still working seriously to improve the road network in his Municipality as well as connect the rural areas in his Municipality unto the rural electrification project. The Kenyan police have arrested a middle-aged man identified as Mbiti Munyao,in Kangundo constituency, Machakos, for allegedly raping two goats to death. According to the area assistant Chief Mary Mulwa, Munyao was seen pulling the two goats from a bush where the animals had been tied on Saturday, January 13. The two goats were said to have taken their last breath after Munyao was done with them. The accused was charged and bailed for sh100, 000 after he pleaded not guilty to the accusation.
