NO CHANGES! Paa Kwesi Fabin remains the at post, Asante Kotoko Rejects report

Asante Kotoko has dismissed reports claiming coach Paa Kwesi Fabin has quit the club. According to reports in the local media, the former U-17 coach had stepped down due to the club’s poor form in this season’s Ghana Premier League. After 11 matchdays,they find themselves 10th on the standings six points behind leaders AshantiGold. However, the club insists Fabin is still at post and will be in the dugout when they welcome Bechem United to the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday. They posted on their official Twitter page: ”NO CHANGES! Contrary to reports going round, Asante Kotoko head coach, Paa Kwesi Fabin remains the at post and currently preparing the lads for the game against Bechem United. ”Fabin joined the Porcupine Warriors at the start of the season following the sacking of Englishman Steve Polack. Asante Kotoko fans involved in an accident

Kotoko fans receiving medical treatment after the accident Some supporters of Asante Kotoko who were on their way from Accra for this afternoon’s Ghana Premier League game with Berekum Chelsea at the Baba Yara Stadium have been involved in an accident. Kessben FM reporter, Collins Atta Poku who is close to the Porcupine Warriors posted pictures of the accident on his Twitter page but did not give the exact location. “Some fans of @AsanteKotoko_SC coming to Kumasi from Accra are believed to have been involved in an accident on the Accra – Kumasi road and have sustained various degrees of injuries. They’ve received treatment.” Sports Broadcaster Atta Poku of Kessben FM posted on his Twitter page. This is the second time members of the Kotoko fraternity have been involved in an accident on the Accra-Kumasi road with the first one being last year after their defeat to Inter Allies.
