The Mortuary attendant accused of taking sexual advantage of the corpse of late Ghanaian beautiful singer, Ebony, has spoken. The Mortuary attendant said “I was ordered by the Police to record the remains of Ebony and Franky for evidence.” DAILY POST had earlier reported that father of the late singer had threatened fire and brimstone after a video emerged showing the mortuary attendant touching his daughter’s private part. Speaking to Nhyira FM, Ghana, he said, “[I] was asked by the pathologists working on the bodies to check if the bodies were ready to undergo an autopsy. He added that he “took videos of them so it could be used as evidence.” The Police have, however, declared the mortuary attendant wanted for criminal act. It was gathered that the woman killed herself using popular poisonous insecticide,’SNIPER’. She was said to have emptied the entire content of the bottle of “sniper”in order to end he life. According to her friend, with Facebook I.D:Esther Ijewere, Banke had decided to carry out the suicidal act due to depression. Further speaking, Ijewere said Banke was unemployed, recently walked away from a toxic relationship, and had nothing working for her. Female University student develops cure for breast cancer

A female student of the African University of Science and Technology, Abuja, Sandra Musujusu, has developed an alternative treatment for breast cancer. The scientific breakthrough might lead to a lasting solution in the treatment of breast cancer prevalent among women world over. This was made known on Tuesday in Abuja when the World Bank Education Director, Dr Jaime Saavedra Chanduvi with his team visited the University as part of his assessment tour of the 10 African Centres of Excellence (ACE) centres. The World Bank has committed about $10 billion for the ACE project in Nigeria, as part of efforts to encourage conduct of cutting-edge research and specialisation of the beneficiaries institutions in specific development problems faced in Nigeria and indeed the African continent. A man has narrated how his parents forced him to get married at the age of 24 and to a lady whom he didn’t love. He said they encouraged him to persevere in the union that with time love will come. Ebony Reigns Corpse was captured in a video for spiritual purpose – Ghanaian prophet

Few days ago, we reported the news of how a mortuary attendant was seen in a video touching the corpse of late Ghanaian singer, Ebony Reigns and that of her friend Franky Kuri who died in an auto crash with her last month. The leaked video sparked a huge outcry on social media as many called for the arrest of the man whom they claimed was sexually assaulting the corpses. The mortuary attendant has however revealed to Ohemeng Tawiah of Nhyira FM , through a friend whose name is withheld, that he was ordered by the police to make the video which he asked the other attendant to do the recording while he examined the corpses. “He was asked by the pathologists working on the bodies to check if the bodies were ready to undergo an autopsy, he took videos of them so it could be used as evidence,”  the friend told Ohemeng Tawiah. Rev. Father involved in stolen baby scandal

A Revered Father has been arrested alongside others following his alleged involvement in the stealing of an 18-month-old baby, Abdullahi Azeez, in Osogbo, Osun State. The baby was stolen by one of the suspects identified as 28-year-old Joy Esu, who had allegedly approached the baby’s mother in the disguise of wanting to learn tailoring. Two days after she supposedly started the training for the trade, Esu absconded with the baby whose mother left in her care to buy some things at the market . Esu who told newsmen that she doesn’t know if her boyfriend was using charms to manipulate her, reportedly gave the baby to her boyfriend, Sidney Onwuka, who then sold him to one Maxwell Agu that had claimed to be running a government registered orphanage at Orlu, Imo State. According to reports from BBC News, women in Ghana have been taking bleaching pills in a bid to lighten the skin of their unborn children. BBC reports that the women have been warned against the growing trend because the illegal drugs can cause birth defects, including damage to limbs and internal organs. This is coming just a few weeks after Ghana was in the headlines for disqualifying candidates for jobs in the immigration service if they bleached skin or stretch marks,. BBC also reports that the pills are often smuggled into the country inside luggage at airports in large quantities and that security agencies and police are working together to arrest and prosecute companies and individuals in possession of the illegal tablets. Minority blows alarm over 1 million cedis MIT program for heads of Youth agencies The Minority is demanding an audit into what it claims to be frivolous expenses and a possible case of causing financial loss to the state by the Education Minister Mathew Opoku Prempeh in a one million cedis Massachusetts Institute of Technology Program (MIT) held last year. The group does not understand how such a whopping amount of money will be spent on such a program with an extra 300,000 cedis on travel, boarding and lodging expenses.
