NPP Invisible ForcesSome National Security Operatives and alleged Invisible Forces of the NPP are believed to have forcibly taken over the UNDP flats at Cantonments after abusing and assaulting the contractor of the redevelopment project. The contractor of the project is alleged to have been physically assaulted by the two groups bringing the redevelopment project to a total halt. When the Contractor of the project approached them to inquire on whose authority they were carrying outthe activity, they claimed that they were instructed by a top government official at the Ministry of Works and Housing to carry out their work. Martha Bissah adjudged Norfolk State University’s Female Athlete of the Year

Former Ghana Youth Olympic gold medallist Martha Bissah has been adjudged Norfolk State University’sFemale Athlete of the Year for the second year in a row. Martha was honoured alongside some student athletes of the Norfolk State University at the Spartan Choice Awards held on Monday night. She made history by becoming the first Norfolk State runner to win a conference cross country title in 16 years.Bissah won the MEAC cross country title in October 2017 running a record 17 minutes, 16 seconds. She followed that by being named the MEAC Indoor Most Outstanding Women’s Runner for the second year in a row after winning four golds in February.Outdoors, she is ranked 10th in the NCAA East Region in the 800. She became the first Ghanaian to win an Olympic gold medal in the 800 metres final at the Youth Olympics in Nanjing, China, in the 2014 Youth Olympics.Bissah was also a bronze medalist at the 2014 African Youth Games in Gaborone, Botswana. CAF Confed Cup: Aduana faces Fosa Juniors

Ghana’s sole representative in the CAF Confederation Cup, Aduana Stars, will this morning (11:30 GMT) face Fosa Juniors of Madagascar in the second leg of the playoffs at Stade Alexandre Rabemananjara (Mahajanga). Aduana in the first leg won by  6-1 at the Dormaa Park. The winner of the two legs qualifies to the group phase of the competition.
