Gyan’s lawyer abandons him as wife hires Yuni Kulendi

Asamoah Gyan’s lawyer of many years, Kissi Agyebeng, has allegedly refused to represent him in his bid to ‘annul’ his marriage with his wife Gifty. Mr Agyebeng, who is also the lawyer of investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas, will be recalled represented the Ghanaian striker in his alleged sodomy of Sarah Kwablah against Maurice Ampaw. He also represented Gyan’s elder brother, Baffour, when he allegedly assaulted Daniel Kenu, a Graphic reporter in Kumasi. In a twist of events, Gifty with whom Gyan has three children, has hired top attorney Yuni Kulendi to represent her in the case. The latest development comes after the Black Stars captain’s new lawyer, Mr Edwin Kusi Appiah, issued a statement clarifying that Gyan is not seeking a divorce at the High Court but an annulment of the marriage. SUHUM MP DISTRIBUTES 0VER 1,800 PIECES OF MATHEMATICAL SETS TO 2018 B.E.C.E CANDIDATES IN THE MUNICIPALITY

The Member of Parliament (MP) for the people of Suhum constituency, Hon Frederick Opare-Ansah has once again this year commenced the distribution of over 1,800 mathematical sets to all BECE candidates in the Suhum municipality to assist them in their Basic Education Certificate Examination which begins on the 4th June, 2018 and ends on 8th June, 2018. According to Ayensu Stephen, the Media Aide for Suhum MP, this gesture is the third of its kind from the lawmaker. The maiden edition of this kind gesture from the generous MP happened two years ago, thus 2016 which was an election year. Many were those who thought the move was a smart one by the Hon MP and only intended to attract votes from electorates in the constituency. With the third edition this year, many constituents are now convinced that it is a move that has come to stay to help improve the academic performance and basic examination results in the municipality. Asante Kotoko fans involved in an accident

Kotoko fans receiving medical treatment after the accident Some supporters of Asante Kotoko who were on their way from Accra for this afternoon’s Ghana Premier League game with Berekum Chelsea at the Baba Yara Stadium have been involved in an accident. Kessben FM reporter, Collins Atta Poku who is close to the Porcupine Warriors posted pictures of the accident on his Twitter page but did not give the exact location. “Some fans of @AsanteKotoko_SC coming to Kumasi from Accra are believed to have been involved in an accident on the Accra – Kumasi road and have sustained various degrees of injuries. They’ve received treatment.” Sports Broadcaster Atta Poku of Kessben FM posted on his Twitter page.
