Mzbel has involved in a motor accident at Labadi Beach in Accra Hiplife artiste Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah popularly known as Mzbel has been involved in a motor accident at Labadi Beach in Accra. The “16 Years” hitmaker was spotted having fun at the beach with a friend who had just returned from America when the unfortunate incident occurred. They were riding quad bikes when Mzbel’s friend lost control and clashed with the singer’s vehicle in the process. Mzbel’s quad bike somersault and was quickly rushed to a hospital in Accra. A Zookeeper at the Gamji Gate amusement park, Kaduna has reportedly died after a lion broke out of its cage and mauled him. The Zookeeer, Mustapha Adam was attacked after the lion escaped, and was admitted to a hospital where he died of his wounds in the early hours of Wednesday Feb. 7th. According to BBC Africa, Authorities say the lion has since been lured back into its cage. Kwame Despite builds children’s ward for 37 hospital as birthday gift The CEO of the Despite Group of Companies, Dr. Osei Kwame, has built a Children’s Block as his birthday present to the 37 Military Hospital. The completed ultramodern facility will be commissioned on 2nd February 2018, which happens to be his birthday. The building which has already been named after the man known for his philanthropic works comes with: • Paediatric Oncology (Cancer) unit, which comprises; two consulting rooms, a nurses’ reception station and office, a main ward for in-patients, a treatment area, a kitchenette, and five washrooms. • The Paediatric Pysiotherapy unit also has; two consulting rooms, a furnished rehabilitation gymnasium/playroom, three washrooms, a kitchenette and a waiting area. • Also included in this complex are two extra private wards for general paediatric admissions. The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of K Monsi Ventures, Mr Francis Yaw Asare has threatened to prosecute Ghanaian musician, Ebony Reigns for failing to attend a concert she was billed for in the Volta Region. Narrating the ordeal on Joy Prime’s Entertainment Review ‘The Red Carpet’ show, Mr Francis bemoaned that he paid Ebony GH₵ 35,000 to perform at a concert in Hohoe on January 2, 2017, but she failed to show up. According to him, he was phoned some few hours into the event only to be informed that Ebony, the headline artiste, had been involved in a car accident hence the need to decline the show. When asked if he was provided proof of the accident, he said ‘there was nothing like that. No pictures, videos to confirm the accident.’ He further disclosed that an emergency meeting was held to find alternative solutions to the situation where monies paid by entrants were refunded to them – the show flopped drastically. “On the day of the show, everything was on point until we wer...
