SUHUM MUSLIM COMMUNITIES SHOW APPRECIATION TO THE MCE

The Leadership and Representatives of Muslims in the Municipality led by Chief Adamu Issah (aka kongoro) yesterday 18th July, paid a courtesy call to the Suhum Municipal Chief Executive, Hon Margaret Darko Darkwah at her office. Their visit was to express their profound gratitude to the Assembly and the Hon MCE for their immense support extended to the Zongo Communities since the Hon MCE was sworn into office. According to them, the Suhum Municipal Assembly under the leadership of Mrs Margaret Darko Darkwah has really done what Napoleon couldn’t do. The donation of food items during the Ramadan Mubarak was described as an unprecedented gesture in the history of their time. Their appreciation was extended to the humanitarian nature of the Hon MCE. Her urgent tackling of problems in the Municipality was commended. CAF Confed Cup: Aduana faces Fosa Juniors

Ghana’s sole representative in the CAF Confederation Cup, Aduana Stars, will this morning (11:30 GMT) face Fosa Juniors of Madagascar in the second leg of the playoffs at Stade Alexandre Rabemananjara (Mahajanga). Aduana in the first leg won by  6-1 at the Dormaa Park. The winner of the two legs qualifies to the group phase of the competition. Fosa juniors are placed fourth in their local league with five points and are bent of replicating the same scoreline this morning whiles Aduana Stars are placed 13th with 7 points. However, reports are that the fans in Madagascar are confident their team will oust the Ghanaian side from the competition.
