Oborpah Djikiti get potable water

It was with great joy as the good people of Oborpah Djikiti today received one of the two boreholes donated by H.E. Difie Agyarko Kusi Dedo, Ghana’s Ambassador to Korea in collaboration with Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh, MCE for Lower Manya Krobo Municipality. The Hon. MCE and his team of engineers led by the Municipal Works Engineer, Mr. Nicholas Awagah witnessed the successful drilling of the first borehole at Oborpah Djikiti this afternoon before the drilling team continued to Akosombo Ketem to drill the second borehole for the area. The Leadership of the Oborpah Djikiti community expressed their appreciation to Mami Dedo, Ghana’s Ambassador to Korea and to Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh for responding to their call. Woman beats 7 months old baby to death while trying to ‘rid her of evil’

They say the bond between a mother and child is as thick as blood,however the reverse is the case for this mother who allegedly traumatized her own 7month old child to death. In what can be described a a horrific incident, A woman identified as Evelyn Jacobs has been arrested after she killed her 7 months old baby in the bid to rid her of evil. The woman who believed her child was possessed by demons, was reported to have tortured the baby for 2 days in an attempt to perform an exorcism According to a report by IOL, some shocking details of how the baby was murdered were revealed in a South-African Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday during the bail application of Evelyn Jacobs.
