HOW TO BUILD YOUR SELF-CONFIDENCE

by: Counselor FENYI 1. Never walk with people who make you feel like a second-class person. Inferiority complex starts from the things we hear. Be careful of who and what you listen to. 2. Never walk, talk or dress to impress anybody. You may not have a sweet voice like *D. Cryme* but you can still succeed in music like *Sarkodie.* Just be yourself! 3. You don’t need everybody to like you before you succeed. You can become a president with just 50%+1 votes, don’t struggle to get 90% approval when 50%+1 can take you there. 4. Practice infront of people who can’t notice your mistakes. If you want to be a great preacher or speaker, you can start by speaking at “children gatherings” or “family and friends gathering”. The children can’t notice you are “shy and fumble”. And use the chance to work on yourself. 5. Never compete with anybody. Each person has his distinct talent, appreciate yours and love your life. 6. Stay in “preparation mode” till your time comes. Don’t rush it, just pr...

LIFESTYLE: Six Questions to Consider in Choosing a Life Partner

Emotional Health and Well-Being I’ve long felt that choosing a life partner should be a subject that is thoroughly discussed sometime in high school and perhaps even in university. It amazes me that so little time, if any, is given to consideringthis topic on a meaningful level in school. Near as I can tell, it’s probably the single most important decision that all of us can make.My feeling is that most people who get married in modern society don’t have the foresight and life experience needed to make the best possible choice. I’m sure that some people are quite thoughtful and wise in choosing a life partner, but from my little spot on the planet, it looks like most of us, myself included, rely mainly on our instincts to choose the one person we want to be with forever. And why wouldn’t we? Society teaches us that love is what matters. Love is theonlything that matters. And what is love? Isn’t it that special feeling that occupies your thoracic cavity and makes you feel blissfully...

I have been eating plastic rice for 2 months’ – Lady Confess

Image
A Facebook user by the name Haykaymeny John, has cried out after discovering that the rice she has been eating for two months is actually plastic rice, a fake product currently warned against. She said she made the discovery when she decided to parboil some of it ahead of when she will return from Church to complete the cooking. When she returned from Church, she noticed that the texture of the rice felt like rubber. She carried out a few test on it and came to the conclusion that it is indeed plastic rice not good for consumption. READ HER STORY BELOW. Friends, I’m here again oh. I just realized this evening that close to 2 months, I have been eating plastic rice. Since today was the last day for our fasting n prayer, when I got back from my usual bizness, I decided to parboil the rice, that when I get back from church, I will come n prepare jollof rice. On getting back from church, I made the stew n when it’s time for me to pour the rice I used my hands n noticed that it was li...

Implement Aliens’ Registration Regulation , 1974( LI.856 ) To Combat Fulani Menace – Student activist appeals to government A citizen from the Volta region has made a humble appeal to the Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) and the Ghana Tourism Authority to consider ways of implementing the Aliens’ Registration Regulation , 1974(Legislative Instrument .856 ) . The issues revolving around Fulani herdsmen in Ghana has become a nationwide problem that requires all hands on deck to fight this problem that has bedeviled the country over these few years . This has caused our farmers across the length and breadth of mother Ghana to harbour fears in them and which in turn prevent them from undertaking farm activities at periods deemed necessary on the farming calendar . Geographical locations of such circumstance cannot be mentioned devoid of Agogo in the Ashanti Region where three soldiers in addition to one police officer were shot recently , Kwahu in the Eastern Region where nine(9) people...
