Residents of Atasomaso in the Asokwa Municipality are grieving the mysterious death of a woman. The woman believed to be in her early 20s was found drowned in a drinking well that serves the area.It’s not clear how she might have gotten drowned. When Lupslive.com news team reached the scene, scores of residents were seen in groups discussing the incident. One of them told Lupslive.com the identity of the deceased is not known because she does not reside in the vicinity. According to him, the passage of the well is too small for human to enter.The Asokwa Police have since, retrieved the body and deposited at the morgue for autopsy. A speeding vehicle with registration AW 5859 -12 number painted in Vodafone colours and logo has knocked and killed Lance Corporal John Andoh of the Ghana Police Service stationed at Ejisu, MyNewsGh.com confirms. The deceased cop according to police was on duty with other colleagues at Kubease snap check point when the incident happened. The Ghana Education Service (GES) has dismissed eleven of its staff for breaching the professional code of conduct of the Service. Nine were dismissed for sex-related misconduct, while three had their contracts terminated for stealing. In a release issued Thursday by the Head of Public of Relations of the GES, Cassandra Twum Ampofo, “The decision was taken after they went through the due process at all levels from the school through the GES Council.” The GES says it is hopeful the sanctions will serve as a deterrent to others who have an intention of breaching the professional code of conduct. The Service has descended heavily on its staff over the last couple of years following reports that heads or teachers at either private or public schools have been engaging in one form of sexual act against their students. At least 10 people have sustained severe bodily burns following a gas explosion that occurred on Tuesday morning at Trinity Gas Stations in Krokrom in the in Kumasi Metropolis. Several cars in and around the station were also burnt down to ashes, including the station, following the inferno, that also spread to a nearby car fitting shop. Some residents, as well as fire personnel who were injured, are receiving medical treatments following the multiple explosions. The body of a newborn baby was found in a well in the northern part of Nigeria and it is believed to have been dumped there by the mother Agyapaonline.net sighted at LindaIkejiblog.com. The baby’s body was found floating in the well by a neighbor who then raised alarm. Residents gathered around the well and fetched the baby out using a fetching bucket. A beautiful baby boy was found abandoned on Tuesday in a bush near Samia Girls, Busia County in Kenya. Five Church members of Grace Living Hope Ministries have reportedly died after being made to drink ‘anointed’ rat poison given then by South African pastor, Light Monyeki. The pastor from Soshanguve tried to prove to his members that they were sub-human and couldn’t die from drinking the lethal dose of rat poison. After his members drank the poisonous liquid, all of them started to complain of stomach pains by the evening of the same day. 13 of them were admitted in hospitals for treatment while 5 of them died. Monyeki has denied responsibility of the death of the 5 members. Police have now been involved in the case and they are investigating the matter. So far, nobody has been arrested. A woman has left her husband devastated and in pains after cutting off his penis for cheating on her numerous times. A woman has been dragged to court after she reportedly cut off her husband’s p*nis for cheating on her. The woman identified as Chinyenre Nwafor was charged to court today in Imo state over the offence. It was alleged that the woman has been complaining to the husband about his promiscuous lifestyle which she frowned at but the man continued about with his cheating ways. A 16 year old junior high school leaver Daniel Mensah has hanged himself to death at Tarkwa for not getting placement in School due to low performance in the just ended BECE. According to district police commander Tarkwa supt. A male second-year Business Administration student of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has been found dead in his room at the Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Hostel also known as the Student Representative Council (SRC) Hostel. Confirming the incident to Class91.3FM’s John Essien, KNUST’s University Relations Officer (URO), Kwame Yeboah Junior, said the cause of the student’s death is not immediately known, but added that the school authorities do not suspect “foul play”. The deceased, an affiliate of the University Hall (Katanga) was the first to be given a key to a room which accommodates four people. Other occupants who needed access to the room could not find the key but realised the door to the room had been locked from inside. The lifeless body was found after some students, with the help of campus security, broke the door to the room on Tuesday, 4 September 2018. Twelve people have been confirmed dead in a fatal accident which occurred at Akwatiakrom in the AhafoAno South District of the Ashanti region last Sunday. A Ford mini bus, travelling from Sunyani in the Brong Ahafo region to Kumasi in the Ashanti regional capital collided head-on with a cargo truck travelling from Mankraso. The crash left 11 dead males, including the driver of the Ford mini bus and a female.Police sources say foggy weather condition hampered visibility on the road. The 15-seater mini bus, with registration AS 7257-15 veered off its lane onto that of the cargo truck with registration GR 2624-14 travelling from Kumasi to Dormaa Ahenkro to load cashew. Three people, including the driver of the Benz cargo truck who survived the accident are currently on admission at the Bechem Government Hospital. Midfielder  Luyanda Ntshangase  from South African top-flight side Maritzburg United died today, two months after being struck by lightning during a friendly fixture.
