Two soldiers killed in herdsmen attack
Two soldiers were killed in a suspected Fulani herdsmen attack in Dung Kasa, Rafiki and Dutse Kura communities in Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State. The attack according to reports, took place on February 14th. 23 other persons are reported to have been killed during the attack. Confirming the death of the soldiers, the Army Public Relations, Brig. Gen. Texas Chukwu, in a statement released last night, said seven suspects had been arrested, while a number of weapons were recovered from them.
