A Spiritualist at Tuba in the Ga South Municipality in the Greater Accra Region, Egya Kofi Dadzi, popularly known as UNIVERSAL MAN has stated that Ghanaians do not need Special Prosecutor but Spiritual Court. Spiritualist Kofi Dadzi was of the view that the best way this government can fight against corruption is to ask the Chief Justice to establish Spiritual Court to deal with alleged corrupt officials. Two Men were sent to court for ‘stealing’ 112-year-old man’s Corpse – Tarkwa, Ghana

Two men, who allegedly stole the corpse of an elderly man at the Tarkwa Municipal Hospital’s mortuary have been granted bail in the sum of GHc 30,000 each, with two sureties each by the Tarkwa Circuit Court. The accused persons are John Asante, 37, a mortuary attendant at the Tarkwa Municipal Hospital, and Seth Owusu, 48, a fridge mechanic at Atonsu-Bokro, a suburb of Kumasi. A third suspect, Efo Kwesi, is on the run. The two pleaded not guilty to conspiracy to commit crime and stealing. The Prosecutor, Chief Inspector Faustina Celestina Anaman, told the court, presided over by Emmanuel Bart-Plange Brew that, the complainant, John Kofi Tenge, a farmer, resides at Wassa Tintinum, near Aboso. She said on May 22, 2017, the complainant’s father, John Kwaku Tenge, aged 112, passed away and the family members deposited his body at the Tarkwa Municipal hospital’s mortuary for preservation. Ebony Reign to be Prosecuted for failing to attend concert show

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of K Monsi Ventures, Mr Francis Yaw Asare has threatened to prosecute Ghanaian musician, Ebony Reigns for failing to attend a concert she was billed for in the Volta Region. Narrating the ordeal on Joy Prime’s Entertainment Review ‘The Red Carpet’ show, Mr Francis bemoaned that he paid Ebony GH₵ 35,000 to perform at a concert in Hohoe on January 2, 2017, but she failed to show up. According to him, he was phoned some few hours into the event only to be informed that Ebony, the headline artiste, had been involved in a car accident hence the need to decline the show. When asked if he was provided proof of the accident, he said ‘there was nothing like that. Two policemen killed in Ghana by unknown gunmen

Two policemen killed in Ghana by unknown gunmen Some unknown armed persons on Wednesday night shot and killed two police officers and wounded another at Drobonso in the Sekyere Afram Plains District of the Ashanti Region. The police officers were returning to their base at Kumawu after performing the day’s duties at Drobonso in the Afram Plains area of Ashanti. Confirming the attack, the Ashanti Regional Minister, Mr Simon Osei Mensah who chairs the Regional Security Council (REGSEC) said the attackers opened fire on the police officers without provocation. He said though the attackers were yet to be identified, he suspects the involvement of Fulani herdsmen. The deceased have been identified as Inspector Adolph Mutse and Constable Prosper Ashinyo.
