Two sisters in trouble over forced prostitution

Two Nigerian sisters standing trial for human trafficking and prostitution have been remanded by an Accra Circuit Court. Jennifer Chizoba Jeremiah, 22, was remanded in police custody while her sister Angel Chioma Jeremiah, 17, was also sent to a correctional centre. However, they pleaded not guilty to the charges of human trafficking and abetment of crime in the court, presided over by Mrs Abena Oppong Adjiin-Doku. The case was adjourned to April 22, 2018. The prosecutor, Inspector Isaac Abbemeh, told the court that on March 20, 2018 the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit, Criminal Investigation Division (CID), Headquarters, received a complaint from a victim that the accused persons, with the assistance of one Kulest in Nigeria, recruited and transported her to Ghana and forced her into prostitution. Breaking: Shatta Wale’s BECE results hit social media

Self-acclaimed dancehall king Shatta Wale has bitten more than he can chew over comments he made about BET Awards claiming that he cannot find his Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) certificate and should not be bothered about Black Entertainment Television (BET) Awards. His comment has given people the opportunity to troll him as some experts in the creative arts industry have released series of BECE certificates allegedly belonging to Shatta Wale with others indicating that his comment could be borne out of ignorance. Subsequently, some BECE certificates with a chain of failed grades from different schools are making rounds on various social media platforms purported to belong to the musician born Charles Nii Armah Mensah who in a recent comment made it clear that he cannot find where his BECE certificate than to think of BET Awards. 33-year-old man who died a week to his wedding

The remains of Mopmi Samson Markus was committed to mother earth in Bauchi State on Thursday, March 29th. Samsom, 33, died in a fatal accident on March 24, while travelling to Bauchi from Abuja for his wedding to Pheobe Masoyi, slated for tomorrow, March 31st. May his soul rest in peace, Amen.
