The death of 4-year-old Aniya Day-Garrett has left the world shocked, especially because of the torture she suffered at the hands of her mother and her boyfriend before she was killed.   Anya was allegedly beaten to death by her mother and her boyfriend on Sunday, March 11. Prior to that, she was starved and had her feet and legs burned. As a result of the torture, the child died in Euclid Hospital in Cleveland on Sunday from a stroke. Medical examiners said the stroke was caused by repeated blows to the head.   Her mother Sierra Day, 23, and Day’s boyfriend Deonte Lewis, 26, were charged with aggravated murder and held on $1 million bonds.     Day and her boyfriend called 911 at about 11.30am on Sunday to report that Aniya was unresponsive and not breathing. Day claimed Aniya started “acting weird” when they took her to Red Lobster the previous Thursday and that she fell off a toilet seat on Sunday. Breaking: Prophet exposes the killer of late President Atta Mills A Prophet known as Cosmos Walker has alleged that late Professor John Evans Atta Mills, who passed on whilst in office as the President of Ghana was assassinated by a boxer. Two females including a pregnant woman have been kidnapped by armed bandits in Dogon-daji, Bingi ward, Maru local government area of Zamfara State. Former Big Brother Africa housemate has taken to online platform-Instagram to shun online marketers who tag her to their bleaching products. A fed up Beverly who has been receiving tag notifications on her Instagram account from different marketers who deal on bleaching creams and soaps, called them out on the platform, adding that she isn’t interested in their products neither does she want to bleach her skin. According to Beverly she said, she doesn’t want to be fair, or use creams that will lighten her. She bluntly warned them to desist from tagging her and sending her mails because they won’t like her response if they continue their act. Assin Bereku, the capital of the Assin North District in the Central Region was thrown into a state of shock and disbelieve when a 12-year-old class six boy committed suicide. A Police source in Assin Fosu confirmed the tragedy to the Ghana News Agency saying the deceased Kwame Adu, was found hanging in his room with his sponge tied to the ceiling fan around 1600 hours on Sunday, moments after he had returned from church. According to his family, Kwame Adu was said to have led the Sunday school church service at the Christ Apostolic Church in a happy mood and returned home cheerfully. A mob yesterday burnt to death a thief who robbed and in the process killed a pregnant woman in the Mararaba Gurku area of Nasarawa State along the Abuja-Keffi expressway.   According to an eyewitness, Martins Ago, the victim had just left the bank where she went to carry out some transactions when the suspect snatched her purse containing a mobile phone and cash. ”The woman came out from a bank and the young man confronted and tried to snatch her purse. A young man has been left heartbroken and shocked after he allegedly caught his girlfriend with another guy in a hotel room he paid for in Sapele area of Delta state. The rich boyfriend was said to have paid for a room at the Simple Ocean hotel and left his girlfriend to stay there and wait for him due to his busy schedule.
