Rugby Africa Launches International Bronze Cup

Rugby Africa, the Africa Region of World Rugby, today launched the 2018 Rugby Africa Bronze Cup between Ghana, Lesotho, Mauritius and Rwanda that is scheduled to take place at the Nduom Sports Stadium in Elmina-Ghana on Wednesday 7 and Saturday 12 May 2018. Mrs Coralie van den Berg, Managing Director of Rugby Africa, said in a statement issued in Cape Town, South Africa that, “We at Rugby Africa are delighted that Ghana is hosting the 2018 rugby Africa bronze cup. It kick starts the 2018 season of senior fifteen a side rugby.” Van den Berg continued to say, “Stakes are high, the Bronze Cup is after all the gateway to qualify for the Rugby World Cup. Two Men were sent to court for ‘stealing’ 112-year-old man’s Corpse – Tarkwa, Ghana

Two men, who allegedly stole the corpse of an elderly man at the Tarkwa Municipal Hospital’s mortuary have been granted bail in the sum of GHc 30,000 each, with two sureties each by the Tarkwa Circuit Court. The accused persons are John Asante, 37, a mortuary attendant at the Tarkwa Municipal Hospital, and Seth Owusu, 48, a fridge mechanic at Atonsu-Bokro, a suburb of Kumasi. A third suspect, Efo Kwesi, is on the run. The two pleaded not guilty to conspiracy to commit crime and stealing. The Prosecutor, Chief Inspector Faustina Celestina Anaman, told the court, presided over by Emmanuel Bart-Plange Brew that, the complainant, John Kofi Tenge, a farmer, resides at Wassa Tintinum, near Aboso. She said on May 22, 2017, the complainant’s father, John Kwaku Tenge, aged 112, passed away and the family members deposited his body at the Tarkwa Municipal hospital’s mortuary for preservation. 45-year-old farmer gets mother-in-law pregnant.

According to reports, 42-year-old Ashetu Igbasue and her son-in-law started their relationship in September 2017, when she relocated to Awe, Nasarawa to harvest her farm produce. Igbasue disclosed to Daily Trust that their relationship started at the farm but on getting home that night, they made love. This act continued daily till she became pregnant three months after. 42-year-old Igbasue said: “I agreed to his demand and thought it was just to satisfy his sexual feelings, but somehow, it became a daily thing. I never thought I could get pregnant due to my age. I told my daughter the truth so that we can get a solution to it and out of anger she went public with it. The whole thing was a temptation and I completely regret it.
