Sanitation: People of Akuse and Atua get 20 seater WC toilet facility each.

Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh, MCE for the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality in his quest to improve the sanitation management situation in his Municipality broke two separate grounds for the construction of 20 seater WC toilet facilities with 4 bathrooms at Akuse and Atua The Hon. MCE and his team first touched base at Akuse in the early hours as they cut sod for the construction of the modern WC toilet facility near the Akuse Market to replace the death trap public toilet which had been out of use for sometime now due to safety issues. Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh finally fulfil his promise to the good people of Atua Osipanya where they never had a public place of convenience which has led to open defecation in the nearby bushes over the years. The traditional Ruler of the area on behalf of his people and himself said a big thank you to the Hon. MCE and the ruling government for coming to their aid. Less privileged and orphans trained for free.

The members of the Ghana National Tailors and dressmakers Association in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality today observed a clean up exercise as part activities of the ‘Ghana Beye Yie’ initiative launch which is aim at training the less privileged and orphans in our societies for free. The exercise which drawn-out both the Masters and apprentices in the fashion fraternity started with the cleaning of the Lassi Community Market to the Lower Manya Krobo Municipal Assembly before ending at the St. Martin de Porres Hospital, Agormanya. Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh, MCE for Lower Manya Krobo Municipality had the opportunity to address the designers at the forecourt of the Municipal Assembly where he assured them of his maximum support to sustain this all important initiative which is aim at training the unemployed in his Municipality. The Bia East Constituency Deputy Communication Director of NDC in the W/R Miss Naomi Nkrumah has called on persons aspiring to be elected as NDC National Executives to refrain from campaign of insult and personal attack. Speaking to the media at Adabokrom the district capital, She urged the aspirant’s to think of 2020 general Election and not the current positions they are vying for since this is inner party politics, hence the call. ” Who ever win this election, do so for the party so if our leaders will refrain from politics of insult and personal attacks, 2020 will be simple for us since we have a lot of campaign messages,” She said. The communication director therefore pleaded with with the members of the Biggest Opposition Party (NDC) to work hard for victory in the income 2020 general elections.
