Kwesi Appiah offered contract extension till end of AFCON 2019

Ghana team coach Kwesi Appiah has reportedly been given a contract extension by the Ghana FA as his two-year deal will expire before the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations. His current deal expires at the end of May, a month before the commencement of the AFCON. Appiah has now been offered a contract renewal by the Normalization Committee which will expire at the end of July. He will receive a humongous bonus if he guides Ghana to win the Nations Cup and will most likely be presented a new deal. Black Stars have already sealed qualification to the 2019 AFCON. BREAKING News: Vodafone’s vehicle crashes policeman to death at police checkpoint

A speeding vehicle with registration AW 5859 -12 number painted in Vodafone colours and logo has knocked and killed Lance Corporal John Andoh of the Ghana Police Service stationed at Ejisu, MyNewsGh.com confirms. The deceased cop according to police was on duty with other colleagues at Kubease snap check point when the incident happened. According to the account of the police, the deceased Lance Corporal and his colleagues had just closed from duty and he was carrying the barricades to safe place but in the process, the pickup vehicle with Vodafone inscription suddenly tried overtaking the accident vehicle from the wrong lane. Policeman arrested for car snatching

Policeman arrested for car snatching A policeman identified as David Fandoh with service number 53389 attached to the national visibility has been arrested at Nkrumah flats for trying to snatch a taxi cab with registration number GG 4316-17. The suspect who was operating with two other accomplices currently on the run, reportedly sprayed pepper at the face of the driver and demanded the keys to his car after they had soughed his services from around Kwame Nkrumah Circle. The driver raised an alarm and the public came to his aid and a driver passing by hit the suspect with his car leading to him falling down and was apprehended. He sustained severe injuries.
