I like your attitude – Akufo-Addo tells Stonebwoy

Nana Akufo-Addo has heaped praises on Stonebwoy after the African Dancehall Artist of the Year at this year’s AFRIMA paid a courtesy call on him at the Flagstaff House to invite him to the Bhim concert scheduled to happen at the Fantasy Dome in Accra on Dec. 28 2018. With some few days to Stonebwoy’s Bhim concert hashtagged #fillthedome, the Dancehall artist yesterday paid a visit to the first gentleman of the land Nana Akufo-Addo which the President expressed his pleasure of accommodating Ashaiman’s finest and CEO of Bhim Nation Stonebwoy at the jubilee house. I’m not stingy as people perceive me to be – Sarkodie

CEO of SarkCess Music and Ghana’s most decorated artiste, Michael Owusu Addo, popularly known in showbiz circles as Sarkodie has stated that contrary to people’s perception that he’s stingy, he’s not. According to Sarkodie, it is not surprising that he is often chastised for being stingy despite his wealth. In an interview with Andy Dosty of Hitz FM, the “Biibiba” hitmaker noted that he’s not happy about the widespread belief and tag that has been hanged around his neck as a stingy wealthy man. Customs intercepts large quantities of smuggled oil at Techiman

The 459 gallons of 25-litres each were hidden in the goods compartments of a Bawku – Kumasi bound bus with registration number GN 2460-12. Officials of the division stationed at the Techiman Barrier became suspicious when the driver sped off after he had been asked to stop. After a hot chase, the Customs officials caught up with the bus and when an inspection was conducted, the goods were found hidden in various compartments without any tax documents covering them. Briefing Briefing the media about the incident, a Sector Commander of the Customs Division of GRA, Assistant Commissioner Seidu Yakubu expressed concern about recalcitrant traders who had taken advantage of the West African trade protocols to smuggle goods into the country to deny the state of its needed revenue.
