5 ways to avoid pressure from in-laws

Most times, when starting out with challenging in-laws, the post-honeymoon portion of the show results in a dramatic climax with cameo appearances by an often unsuspecting cast of characters. I’ve dipped my big toe into this risky topic pool once before, and am now ready to take the full plunge. Here are five coping mechanisms I’ve developed, which I’m still laboriously practicing and pledging in writing to continue to rehearse: 1. Stay off hot-button topics. One of my favorite things about my mother-in-law is her ability to express herself without compunction and her commensurate ability to agree to disagree. Breaking: Megastar Sridevi dies, Bollywood remembers her

Bollywood is paying tribute to Sridevi, one of the Indian film industry’s most popular actresses, who died suddenly  Saturday  at 54. Citing family sources, the Press Trust of India reported Sridevi died after suffering cardiac arrest in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, where she was attending a family wedding. Bollywood greats and Indian political elites authored a flood of tributes on social media to the actress whose work spanned five decades and included some of the country’s most beloved films. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi was among the many who expressed shock at Sridevi’s death, with a tweet extending his condolences to her family. Saddened by the untimely demise of noted actor Sridevi. She was a veteran of the film industry, whose long career included diverse roles and memorable performances. Fella Makafui has offered her help to a school

A Ghanaian actress,  Fella Makafui  has offered her help to a school who still teaches computer lesson using a blackboard instead of a computer itself. She came across pictures showing a teacher writing on the board as he teaches his students computer lessons. The pictures detailed the stress a Ghanaian teacher faces as he had to draw the whole icons of a Word processing window on the board with a chalk. The Ghollywood actress, who recently lost her friend Ebony Reigns in an auto crash, took to her Instagram page to share the pictures and called on anyone with information on how to contact the school’s management so that she and her  Fella Makafui Foundation  can help with donations. She wrote: Hello Ghana, Can some one kindly help me with information to access this school or it’s Administration, so that I can make some donations to the school. 14year old girl arrested for selling marijuana in school

Members of Reaction Unit, South Africa, have arrested a fourteen (14) year old girl for allegedly selling marijuana in school. The ninth grade high school student confessed to have been received the illicit drugs from her 17 year old sister who was in eleventh grade, of the same school. According to reports, the officers got information that a teenager in the school was selling cannabis to the students during lunch break. The reaction unit then made way to the ninth grade class(J.s.s 3) of the school in company of a female officer and the class educator. It was reported that as soon as the officers entered the class, the girl quickly tossed the pink pencil case from her school bag to a nearby desk. Upon interrogation, she told the officers that her 17 year old sister who was sick and couldn’t get to school that day had asked her to deliver the drugs to a boy in school who would assist her with the trade for that day, in her abscence.
