Having listened vividly to the mid year review on the budget statement delivered by Hon.ken Ofori Atta on the floor of Parliament today, we the entire executive and membership of Drivers and car owners association Ghana (formally Drivers for change) wishes to congratulate the NPP government for performing creditable on the country’s developmental Agenda and fulfilment of major campaign promises including free SHS,nurses and teachers training allowances etc. We believe the government is on cours.We also want to express our sincere gratitude to the minister for not introduced new taxes as was speculated earlier on in the media but rather intended to implement tax compliance law to ensure more revenue are raised to fund the various developmental projects in the country. Again we thank the NPP government also for not imposing any new taxes on commercial transport operation but rather on luxirous car that will be imported by rich and private car owners. Customers are to be treated as Kings and Queens – Felix Dompley

The general manager of Brakwa Breman Rural Bank (BBRB) Mr. Felix Dompley has made it clear that, customers of every bank are to be treated as Kings and Queens but not to be brutalized. Talking to the press at the bank’s 33rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) which was held this weekend at Breman Asikuma, in the Asikuma Odoben Brakwa District in the Central Region, Mr. Dompley expressed worries about how some banks treat customers during and after banking hours. “Even Board of directors and the workers are there because of the customers, and are the main reason why the bank exist” He hinted. “The root of every bank is the customers, in spite of his or her profession, being a Farmer, Trader,Teacher,Student or A Kaya Yoo, so they deserve the best of treatment” he added. He therefore pleaded with farmers, traders and self employed personnel’s to have confidence in the banking institutions, because it is the only best way of savings.
