Workers at State’s House of Assembly in Nigeria were in shock after a dead owl was found in the speaker of parliament’s seat. There have been speculation that some individual or group of individuals are plotting to eliminate the speaker, Rt. Hon. Barrister Onofiok Luke. The speculation was fuelled by alleged discovery of an owl in the speaker’s seat this morning. According to reports, the owl which is normally associated with witchcraft was found when staff of the assembly started making their way into the house. Photos of the weird bird being held by a man believed to be one of the staff of the House of Assembly has been circulating online. The question most residents have been asking is how the owl made its way into the chamber and perched on no other seat than that of the speaker. A 35-year-old lady identified as Kate Otu burnt to death in an early morning fire at Oghara Delta State. The incident occurred this Tuesday morning, May 1. The deceased said to be a black market vendor, reportedly left a candle close to a gallon of fuel. According to reports, the fire was so severe that nothing could be saved from the entire building. Fire fighters were said to have arrived very late after the damage has been done.

In one of the worst cases of traffic jam in Nigeria, a Pregnant woman reportedly given birth in a car on her way to hospital as a result of terrible traffic on the road.  A Facebook user identified as Onisodemuya Lishman allegedly shared on her page about a pregnant woman who gave birth inside her car while stuck in traffic. The pregnant woman who got stuck at Azikoro village in Yenegoa was helped by some passersby and community people who had found out that she was in labor. The passersby came to her rescue when they noticed she was in labor and offered to help, they made sure she birthed her baby without contractions The woman delivered her child successfully as she was later taken to a hospital for further treatment. This is not the first time this is happening as some time last year a woman reportedly had a baby while on a BRT. A  man has left many people in serious shock after attacking his wife with a machete before killing himself in Delta state. The wife identified as Evangelist Mrs Promise was left in critical condition as she was being rushed to the intensive care unit of the Federal Medical Centre, Asaba after her husband attacked her with a machete leaving her with deep cuts The sad incident happened on Monday evening. It was gathered that the woman had returned from a journey that evening without any premonition what awaited her at home. Two Ghanaian immigrants and a Nigerian have been arrested by police in Italy after using black magic to forcibly engage a child in prostitution. Yen.com.gh is reporting that these Ghanaians and Nigerian had brought the young girl from Nigeria to Italy so they can pimp her into prostitution and make extra money. Upon refusing to take such an offer, the men started to abuse the lady and even used black magic to get her do the very things she is against. The names of the Ghanaian are Seate Seth Asare – 32-years-old and Joy Kingsley 48-years old.
