Murdered journalist was stabbed multiple times to her death-Investigation reveals

The late Dess FM presenter, Portia Amma AgyeiwaaaIt has emerged that Bekwai-based journalist who was killed by unknown assailant, was stabbed multiple times, leading to her death. Portia Amma Agyeiwaaa of Dess FM was found in a pool of blood in front of her Bentil house room at Nyameduasi, a suburb of Asante-Bekwai after allegedly being stabbed on Sunday evening. Preliminary police investigations revealed the deceased was stabbed in the chest, thigh and in the left arm with a sharp object. “There has been some stabbing; some around the chest region, somewhere in the thigh and somewhere in the left or right arm as well,” ASP Juliana Obeng who speaks for police in Ashanti Region said. The deceased, according to police also struggled with her assailant, forcing a television set which had been mounted on the wall, crushed to the ground after the assailant struggled and overpowered her before stabbing her with an unknown object. Adjeiwaa Kodie was a newscaster at Dess Radio in Bekwai The Ashanti Regional Police Command says it has picked up intelligence that will hopefully lead to the arrest of those who killed a newscaster of Dess FM in Bekwai. The 30-year-old woman, Ama Adjeiwaa Kodie, is believed to have been stabbed to death in her room at Bekwai last Sunday.
