UN Secretary-General A ntonio Guterres  has appointed Nigeria’s Bola Adesola to serve as Vice-Chair of the Board of the UN Global Compact. Also appointed with Adesola is  Paul Polman  of the Netherlands, Chief Executive Officer of Unilever, to also serve as Vice-Chair of the Board of the UN body, the UN announced. BREAKING: Zim’s former Prez Robert Mugabe dies at 94 HARARE, ZIMBABWE – Former Zimbabwean long serving president Robert Mugabe died peacefully Sunday at his home in Harare, according to a statement from his family. The cause of death was not given. A statement from Mugabe’s wife, Grace Mugabe, said: “My family joins me in sharing the difficult news that Robert Gabriel Mugabe, our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather has passed away at 94 years of age.
