“PRICES OF CHOP BOXES INCREASE”, ASSEMBLY MAN RESCUE POOR PARENTS

Prices of chop boxes in the Sefwi Yawmatwa Electoral area in the Western region have increased astronomically due to the implementaion of the free senior high school policy. The situation has made if difficult for some parents to afford the chop boxes for the wards who have been placed under the free senior high school policy. Following this, the Assembly Member of the area, Hon. Abass Mohammed, has donated 800 chop boxes to students who have been placed as boarders under the double-track system. He has been commended by parents, beneficiaries and traditional leaders for his kind gesture, which residents say will go a long way to assist parents and students especially to go to school without hindrance. The residents in the area are predominantly cocoa farmers and because the harvest season is not due, majority of them, were unable to buy the chop boxes for their wards. MAKE LAWS THAT WILL PREVENT DOCTORS FROM OPERATING PRIVATE HEALTH FACILITIES – NPP communicator

A communication member of the ruling New patriotic Party ( NPP) for Yepei Kusawgu constituency Mr. Kamara Briamah is urging govt to enact laws that will prevent medical doctors, nurses and other health workers under Ghana health service from establishing and operating hospitals while he or she is still in active service. Mr. Kamara made this comments on Union 98.1 FM “Sunday political show” today Sunday 19, August, 2018 with Mustapha Sofo, the host, at Buipe in the central Gonja District of northern region when analysing the recent happenings at the Tamale Teaching Hospital over the week by the NPP Kandahar boys. Smallville’ actress Allison Mack arrested for alleged role in sex trafficking case

Actress Allison Mack, best known for her role as Clark Kent’s clever confidant Chloe on CW’s “Smallville,” was indicted on Friday on charges of sex trafficking, sex trafficking conspiracy and forced labor conspiracy, according to a statement released by the Justice Department. Mack’s arrest is related to her alleged involvement with an organization called Nxivm (pronounced NEX-ium), a group that claimed to be a self-help program but was, in reality, a pyramid scheme in which some recruits were exploited “both sexually and for their labor, to the defendants’ benefit,” according to U.S attorney Richard P.
