KWAHU OBOMENG CONFERRED CLEANEST IN GHANA Krobea Asante executive coordinator for Drink Safe Water Advocacy Group, the anti – water and environmental pollution group has today conferred KWAHU Obomeng cleanest town in Ghana. This was after the group paid a courtesy visit to the town in the quest to help a clean up dubbed “onaapo clean up”. On Thursday, Drink Safe Water Advocacy Group and it’s Executives including the Coordinator, Krobea Asante Tofepa Ntomentwene, a former morning show host at Rite FM in Somanya and a journalist at Power Africa Multimedia. Earlier today, the group who had announced the clean up exercise said, they were astonished to see no waste especially pure water rubbers and polythene in the streets. Traditional priest kills 40-year-old man and runs away The victim is said to have died on the spot after been knocked down A traditional priest, affectionately called Nana Oboa nipa, has allegedly killed a man suspected to be in his 40’s in a car accident at Kwame Nsia in the Tano south district of the Brong-Ahafo Region. Ghanacrusader.com reports that, the victim, Atanga Daniel, died on the spot when the suspect, Nana Oboa nipa, in his unregistered saloon car knocked him down on the Tepa-Bechem road around 3pm on Wednesday, December 27 and immediately took to his heels. The Body of the deceased was left on the road as passerby’s sought to identify him. The deceased, Mr Atanga, was later identified as a resident of the Kwame Nsia town. The situation which is yet to be investigated by the police, also recorded that, the suspect, Nana Oboa nipa, killed three children on the same Tepa-Bechem route with his unregistered car recently. Multiple People has been Shot in Southern California, 2 Dead: Police An investigation into the shooting in Long Beach, Southern California is underway. (Representational) Multiple people have been shot at in Southern California in what appears to a case of workplace violence, Long Beach police said according to a report by The Associated Press. The incident reported at around 2:25 PM (local time) is now over. At least two people have been killed in the incident, the report added. There are multiple victims at the scene, and the shooter is also believed to have died, the police said. “Earlier active shooting incident in LB is now a murder investigation. Suspect is also believed to be deceased at the scene,” the Long Beach police department tweeted. A video shows people running from an unmarked two-storey building which houses several law firms, the report said.
