Highlife Musician Rex Owusu Marfo known in showbiz as Rex Omar has advised self-acclaim dancehall king Shatta Wale to call his music “rudebwoy highlife” and not dancehall.Rex Omar noted that Shatta Wale is playing good highlife tunes and making big hits out of it yet he calls it dancehall. To him, most of Shatta Wale’s hits songs are highlife songs that would have been promoted worldwide if he tagged them as ‘rudebwoy highlife’ rather than dancehall. “With his rudeness and all that, if he has called his highlife maybe rudebwoy highlife or something like that then it would have taken our music somewhere else,” he said on ‘The KSM Show’. A 35-year-old man identified as Nkemakolam Ugorji, and his wife, Happiness, have said economic hardship made them sell their two-day-old baby girl in Isiala Ngwa, Abia State, according to Punchng. Ugorji and Happiness said they had been married for 7 years and already had 4 children, adding that they could not care for the 5th baby and therefore decided to give her away to foster parents. Happiness said, “My husband and I decided to sell our baby because of hardship. We have four children and my husband is not working. When I was pregnant, there was no money for me to go for antenatal and feeding was even a problem for us. That was why we decided to sell our baby.” She added that it was the nurse who delivered her of the baby that connected them to the lady who helped them to sell the baby for the sum of N300,000. A man believed to be in his late 40s has poured acid on his wife at Adukrom a suburb of Bibiani in the western region. The sad incident took place in the late hours of Thursday evening after an argument between the couple. The husband whose name was only given as Yaw Kyremeh, went into the room and came out holding a container which he emptied on his unsuspecting wife, Oforiwaa. The two have been living together for the past four years but have been having some sort of misunderstanding which neighbors believe could be the reason behind the incident. Some eyewitnesses who spoke to Nyankonton Mu Nsem on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm disclosed that, Mrs. Oforiwaa who sells coal in the area returned home late from work yesterday which caused her husband’s fury and that ended in the fight. A mother who beat her eight-year-old ailing daughter to death has been arrested by the police and currently being prepared for court. The Korle-Bu District Police apprehended the 38-year-old mother of four at Korle-Gonno in Accra following a tip-off. According to police, Larteley Mensah beat young Tani Sanni until she passed away. Police sources say the young girl suffered at hands of her own mother because she failed to cover up her vomit with sand as she had been instructed to do. The eight-year-old had been battling a chronic skin disease. Tani Sanni had been staying with her dad following the separation of her parents, however, due to the deterioration of her chronic skin disease, the father brought her to her mother for proper care. A heartbroken man left the court in tears as he deposed that he didn’t want his wife, Hilda Mleya, 30, anymore because she was too beautiful. The incident took place at Chief Chireya’s court in Gokwe, Zimbabwe. Arnold Masuka, 40, the complainant made his sensational claims before Chief Chireya. It is reported that Masuka was divorcing his wife because of her beauty which was giving him sleepless nights.  The situation had got so bad he was afraid of going to work or leaving her alone as he feared she would attract other men.  Chief Chireya asked Masuka if he had really made up his mind to divorce his wife and abandon his own young children who are currently still in school.
