In support of Sonya Deville in her match versus Sasha Banks, Paige did not get physically involved in the bout while working outside the ring. During the telecast, Tom Phillips announced that Paige would not compete in the first ever women’s Royal Rumble on Jan. 28. “As reported during tonight’s Monday Night Raw broadcast, Paige will not compete in this year’s historic 30-Woman Royal Rumble Match due to a neck injury.”, as reported by WWE.
