A Facebook user by the name Haykaymeny John, has cried out after discovering that the rice she has been eating for two months is actually plastic rice, a fake product currently warned against. She said she made the discovery when she decided to parboil some of it ahead of when she will return from Church to complete the cooking. When she returned from Church, she noticed that the texture of the rice felt like rubber. A man has reportedly damaged his wife’s phone for not telling him her password. The man sliced the phone with a cutlass after obtaining the handset from the wife. Indian surgeons who removed a massive brain tumour in a marathon seven-hour procedure said Thursday it could be the heaviest ever recorded. Santlal Pal, a 31-year-old shopkeeper, had been carrying around a tumour weighing nearly two kilos before the surgery on February 14. Doctors at Mumbai’s BYL Nair hospital where he was treated said the tumour was so large that “it appeared as if he had two heads mounted on top of each other”. “It was an extremely daunting and complex surgery,” the hospital’s head of neurosurgery Trimurti Nadkarni told AFP. He said the operation took seven hours to complete and the patient required 11 units of blood. “After the patient regained consciousness, we researched and concluded this was the world’s heaviest tumour to be reported so far,” he added. An investigative committee report on alleged sexual abuse at Ejisuman Senior High School could contain damning revelations on how some female students were sexually abused. Over 10 students said they told the committee they were forced by some of the teachers to stroke their manhood until they ejaculate as punishment. Others spoke about how they demand sex and being forced to have sex with their teachers. A  man has left many people in serious shock after attacking his wife with a machete before killing himself in Delta state. The wife identified as Evangelist Mrs Promise was left in critical condition as she was being rushed to the intensive care unit of the Federal Medical Centre, Asaba after her husband attacked her with a machete leaving her with deep cuts The sad incident happened on Monday evening. It was gathered that the woman had returned from a journey that evening without any premonition what awaited her at home. An Accra Circuit Court, on Wednesday sentenced Courage Dodzi Misho, a 27 year-old Driver to 27 years imprisonment for robbing one Abdul Bassit Ibrahim Munagah, of his Honda Pilot car and other belongings at gun point. Courage was put before the court together with one Alhassan Yussif, and Aminu Bawa, for conspiring and robbing the victim of his car worth $56,100.00. The accused and his team also took away one iPhone 7 plus worth $1,000.00; an iPod worth $1,000.00; one Apple Watch worth $800.00; a Gold Chain worth $3,500.00; Spectacles worth $50.00, and a Garage remote control, worth GHc2,500.00; and other personal effects, which were in the car.
