WBO TITLE: George Ashie faces tough South African opponent
George ‘Red Tiger’ Ashie will return to the ring on April 27 at the Bukom Boxing Arena. Ashie will battle South Africa’s Michael Mokoena for the vacant interim WBO lightweight belt. The card is been promoted by Box Office Promotions. The Ghanaian after turning pro 15 years ago was tipped for greatness but his career nearly took a nose dive after his controversial majority lost to compatriot Emmanuel Tagoe in 2012.
