Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh, MCE for Lower Manya Krobo Municipality Wednesday broke grounds for the construction of a modern 16 seater WC toilet facility with 4 bathrooms at Asitey. The short sod cutting ceremony was observed by cross section of the community, NPP Lower Manya Krobo Constituency executives, officers from the Assembly among others. Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh in his brief speech after the sod cutting encouraged the youth of the area to take full advantage of this construction project since the contractor will be recruiting greater number of his working force from the area as the similar ongoing projects has created a lot of employment for the youth in the respective project areas. A 16 year old girl has been reported dead, after she was allegedly raped and impregnated by her family doctor at the Federal Medical Center, Bida, Niger State. The teenager identified as Fatima Yusuf was said to have lost her life after she gave birth to her baby. Prior to her death, she was raped repeatedly and impregnated by the doctor, Dr. Seyi, who treated her mother ,while she was admitted at the hospital for diabetes . A family source quoted Fatima as telling the family that it all began on a day the doctor invited her to his room while her mother was asleep disclosing that the appalling act continued until Fatima’s mother was discharged from the hospital.
