NPP COMMUNICATION TEAM FOR AWUTU SENYA EAST REBUTTS ILL COMMENTS MADE BY THE MINORITY LEADER IN PARLIAMENT, HARUNA IDDRISU ABOUT THE MINISTRY OF SPECIAL DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE.
The NPP Communication Team for the Awutu Senya East Constituency condemns the ill comments made by the Minority Leader in Parliament, Haruna Iddrisu about the Ministry of Special Development Initiative. The Minority Leader in Parliament, Haruna Iddrisu stated on the floor of Parliament yesterday that , he did not see the relevance of the Ministry of Special Development Initiative and as a result, the minority will not support the budget allocated to that Ministry. The Legislator ignorantly claimed that there is a conflicting role between the ministry in question and the Metropolitan Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs). He again wrongly asserted that the ministry is doing the work that the 3 Development Authorities (i.e. The Coastal, Middle Belt and Northern Development Authorities) are supposed to do.
