Some members of the leading opposition party,National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Okaikoi North Constituency in the Greater Accra Region have threatened to place an injunction on the branch elections there over a disqualification regulation. Rexford Amegbor said they will resist any attempt to disqualify candidates based on rules and regulations that are not specified in the branch election guidelines and the NDC Constitution. Okaikoi North NDC Constituency Chairman, Fiifi Taylor has said the executives will disqualify any candidate who is contesting for a position in a polling station he does notcast his ballot. But Mr Amegbor and another member, Philip Doe have warned they will stay the branch election if the Constituency chairman carries out his disqualification plan. “What Mr Taylor is saying is at variance with the branch election guidelines released by the party’s highest body – National Executive Council (NEC),” an outraged Mr Amegbor said. 8 Beauty Tips for the Everyday Black Woman

I had the chance to ask her a few of her trade secrets around skin care and beauty and she didn’t disappoint. What’s great to know is that her regimen is cost-effective and uses all types of natural products. Here are Beauty tips, recommendations, and rituals that I plan to incorporate into my overall self-care plan 1. Sleep and exercise:  If you take care of your body from the inside, there will be a lot less money spent on maintaining a healthy appearance. For me personally, my skin is more beautiful when I do my kettlebell and light yoga workout routines every other day. I don’t play when it comes to my sleep, which is challenging because I am a night owl. Seven hours of sleep is non-negotiable for me. 2. Selective drinks:  My only beverages are water and teas. I don’t drink any sugar beverages or add anything to my tea. Eliminating sugary drinks helps promote a cleaner immune system, and promotes clearer skin. 3. Mindful eating:  I am an 80/20 vegan...

Manchester City Looking To Make A Swoop For 19 Y/O Ligue 1 Star: Should Pep Make It Happen?

Image
Latest reports claim that  Manchester City have a more than optimal chance of landing the French prodigy, Kylian Mbappe next summer. Paris Saint-Germain are currently being investigated over Financial Fair Play regulations and that could prevent the 19-year-old from making  the  £167m switch  to the Parc des Princes following this season. Mbappe is only playing for the Ligue 1 giants because of the agreement PSG have in place with his parent club, AS Monaco. In hindsight, PSG forced officials to look under their hood because of  the record-breaking £198m  transfer move they made for Neymar ahead of the 2017/18 season. Pep Guardiola wants to bolster the City squad further and the Mbappe transfer seems more than likely at the moment. If you have witnessed the season with both Mbappe and Neymar in the same team, the picture will become even clearer to you. Yes the Frenchman has put up remarkable stat-line of 19 goals and 17 assists this season al...

Rangers Players Rated And Slated In Their Shambolic Derby Defeat Vs Celtic: Halliday Gets 4/10!

Despite returning to the top flight of Scottish football, Rangers have been in Celtic’s shadow in recent years but had an opportunity to shake off the disappointment and clinch something from another season of mediocrity by scripting a win against their great rivals Celtic in today’s Old Firm derby at Hampden Park. The Scottish Cup semifinal handed Graeme Murty’s men to alter the obvious and seek a revenge of last month’s bizarre derby defeat despite leading twice in the first half and then conceding against a ten-man Hoops side at Ibrox after the break. They were thought to be more competitive this afternoon to salvage their elite status but suffered a shambolic 4-0 defeat instead as they were thoroughly dominated by the Bhoys who had a stroll in the park in yet another one-sided derby. Below are the Rangers players rated in their disastrous derby defeat against Celtic. Wes Foderingham: 5 Conceded twice from the spot and could have done little on the other two occasions as he conc...

Barcelona Interested In £87M Ligue 1 Defensive Star: Should They Go All In For Him?

Image
Barcelona might have maintained a sheer dominance in domestic competitions and on the course of reclaiming the La Liga title remaining unbeaten, their shocking exit from the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals has raised a few questions – particularly regarding their defensive line who failed to defend a 4-1 lead from the first leg and conceded thrice at Stadio Olimpico against the underdogs AS Roma. Although the Italian outfit must be lauded for their will, grit, and determination, a team of Barcelona’s stature is expected to defend a 3-0 lead irrespective of their opponents. The Catalans have spent billions in the transfer market in recent years, however, it is time to reconstruct the backline that lacks serious depth and discipline needed to handle the pressure and grind out results. If reports are believed to be true, they are keeping close tabs on French sensation Dayot Upamecano and plotting to offer RB Leipzig, his current employers, a gigantic  £8...
