The vice president, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has given out a brand new car to the National Chief Imam Alhaji Osman Nuhu Sharubutu. The Toyota Avalon saloon car gift came with a number plate customised as ‘C IMAM 1 – 18’ in reference to the title of Sharubutu. According to “The Today’s Muslim”, an Islamic page on Facebook, the car was given as a gift to Sharubutu on the occasion of his 61st Annual Maulid Celebration since becoming the Chief Imam.
