FREE KWADWO ADJEI NOW —–TECHIMAN YOUTH ASSOCIATION CALLS ON POLICE HIERARCHY

Members of Techiman Youth Association has a matter of urgency called on the police hierarchy to free their leader ;Kwadwo Adjei aka Kwadwo cocaine who was arrested after a demonstration in TECHIMAN on 18th March 2018 for allegedly burning the shrine of a spiritualist at Techiman Twimia.
Briefing journalists in TECHIMAN on Monday 26th March 2018 aggrivesd members of the Association led by Hon Prince Akumfi Ameyaw Assembly member of Dwomor Electoral area and Francis Ameyaw Executive member of the group said ;Police,MCE granted the youth permission to demonstrate against MONEY DOUBLERS and 419 Mallams in TECHIMAN who deceive people and take their monies and promise to help the poor people but fails to do so and at times those innocent people are beating by tags of the mallams which the youth said was tarnishing the image of Techiman hence the youth demonstration to compel police,Nananom and MCE to let the mallams move away from the municipality.

As a result when it was alleged that Kwadwo Adjei burnt the house of a spiritualist he was remanded by a sunyani circuit court to reappear on 5th April 2018 which the Association said was wrong since their leader didn’t burn any house and gave evidence to that effect which the police fails to accept.

The youth have therefore called on the police hierarchy to free their leader Kwadwo Adjei and conduct an immediate investigation into the matter .
