Woman beaten up and publicly disgraced for allegedly stealing phone, money at a wedding

Stealing at social events is probably by now one of the most rampant crimes and one cannot but wonder why most social/public event thieves are seldom caught.

A yet-to-be identified woman in Sapele ran out of luck on Sunday when she was caught with a mobile phone, money and other valuables that she allegedly stole during a wedding at Jesse Town.

According to reports, she had claimed to be related to the bride and groom but it turned out to be a lie.

She was beaten up and publicly disgraced by angry residents who didn’t spare her at all.

As at the time of this report, details about her whereabouts after the incident is unknown
