Stop destroying and stealing projects done by NDC in SUHUM – CCS cry out

Concern Citizens in Suhum through a Press release have accused the MCE, Honourable Margaret Darko of stealing and destroying projects by the former government.

PRESS RELEASE IS AS FOLLOWS

As the saying goes ” if you don’t have anything to offer your in-law then don’t steal from him”. Our hearts are filled with sadness as we write this release. As the president of land said we shouldn’t be spectators but citizens, we are therefore in support of the words of the president. As good citizens we all need the progress of the country by calling for more developments.

It has come to our notice that the current administration led by Hon. Margaret Darko is stealing and destroying projects by the former government. The Honorable Municipal Chief executive has tagged a 6 unit class room block with staff offices located at Suhum Abisim as part of her one year achievements in the municipality. This statement has really hit the citizens of Suhum with surprise. The project was started by Hon Kwabi a former MCE and completed by Hon. Margaret Ansei but couldn’t commission it for use. This is ridiculous and blatant lie coupled with incompetence by Hon Margaret Darko to claim what doesn’t belong to you as yours.

Moreover, the MCE again has destroyed a new toilet facility built by NDC in Suhum around the main station to give way for the construction of ab new one. As citizens we can only say this is a clear indication of narrow mindedness, whilst more communities in the municipality lack a toilet facility it was prudent for this new toilet project to be relocated at places without a toilet facility.

We as citizens not spectators we will do anything in our power to ensure dignity and sanity in Suhum. NDC were voted out of power because Ghanaians felt they weren’t doing the right thing but to steal and destroy good projects given to us through them, then there is something wrong with this current administration. Our president is renaming projects he knows nothing about it and also claiming ownership of projects by the former government. This is a clear indication of incompetence.
