The Member of Parliament (MP) for the people of Suhum constituency, Hon Frederick Opare-Ansah has once again this year commenced the distribution of over 1,800 mathematical sets to all BECE candidates in the Suhum municipality to assist them in their Basic Education Certificate Examination which begins on the 4th June, 2018 and ends on 8th June, 2018.

According to Ayensu Stephen, the Media Aide for Suhum MP, this gesture is the third of its kind from the lawmaker. The maiden edition of this kind gesture from the generous MP happened two years ago, thus 2016 which was an election year. Many were those who thought the move was a smart one by the Hon MP and only intended to attract votes from electorates in the constituency. With the third edition this year, many constituents are now convinced that it is a move that has come to stay to help improve the academic performance and basic examination results in the municipality.
The Suhum legislature, Hon Frederick Opare-Ansah is currently outside the country on official duties and still managed to see to it that the exercise is carried out this year despite his absence. The MP has severally through his actions, deeds and speech demonstrated his love and concern for the education of the youth of the constituency/municipality. “My absence in Ghana must not halt the intervention that has brought great relief to many parents and also helped to improved BECE results in the constituency.” he told the constituency executives who were tasked to make the distribution over the phone far away from ECOWAS Parliament at Abuja.
Hon Frederick Opare-Ansah has also asked those in charge of the distribution of the mathematical sets to extend his greetings and best wishes to all the candidates in the municipality. He prays God grants them retentive memory so that they come out with flying colors.
The distribution of these math sets to the candidates is estimated to have cost the MP over Eight Thousand (8,000) Ghana cedis.
