SAFEGUARD YOUR FUTURE — ASESEESO ANKOBEA URGES THE YOUTH.
The Ankobea of Aseseeso(Nana Duoduwaa Ampem( 1) in collaboration with AS I GROW organization has organized a one day symposium on safeguarding the future of the youth of Aseseeso and Akode. This program was geared towards helping the just out gone Junior High school to have a fruitful future.
The symposium included talk on:
Educational life plan,
Standing true to your dreams and career,
Maintaining your dignity as a teenage girl,
Choosing role models,
Living a successful life till entering the Senior high school,
Being a good dependent and supportive candidate to your parents and guardians,
and Choosing a suitable educational courses.
The program was organized to help the jhs graduants to focus on their educational leather in order not to get swayed by peer pressure, society and the current trend of increased drug abuse.
In a separate interview with the Ankobea of Aseseeso (Nana Duoduwaa Ampem 1) she said the Chief of Aseseeso gave her the backing to organize such a program to motivate the youth and also encourage them in facing the task ahead. She went on to admonish the teachers and parents to continue to put in more effort in building the future of the youth. She stressed on effective parental guidance and humility on the part of the students as well.
She created the awareness on how the girls should be careful of teenage pregnancy in order not to end their future abruptly.
The CEO of AS I GROW, Mr Debrah Bekoe Isaac also explained to our reporters that the organization aims at building the intrinsic and extrinsic capacity of the youth in the rural communities in Ghana that is why they joined this motivational campaign. He went on to invite all stakeholders to get involved in building and restructuring the future of the youth..
He lamented on how our youth are being influenced by the menace of drugs and charged the students to stand on their grounds and choose role models and be supportive to their parents.
