ASUOGYAMAN DISTRICT ASSEMBLY EMPOWERED YOUTH & ADULTS TO REQUISITE SKILLS TRAINING

Asuogyaman District Assembly in the Eastern region have empowered youth and adults into Soap making, Cassava processing in two (2) weeks under the Rural Enterprise program at GYAKITI.

The District Chief Executives Officer, Samuel Kwame Agyekum with a great pleasure for him associated with the graduation ceremony of 20 training ceremony particularly because it has to do with the youth to be empowered to take their rightful position in life.
Hon. Samuel Kwame Agyekum at the graduation ceremony said, the program is in line with H.E the President vision of job creation agenda and reduction of unemployment rate in the Country.

Samuel Kwame Agyekum took the opportunity of the ceremony to commend the trainees for avail themselves to undergo the training exercise to make life more meaningful with the requisite skills.

The rural enterprise program is a government of Ghana initiative set aside to reduce poverty among the rural communities in Ghana. The primary goal of the program is to improve the livelihood and incomes of rural poor micro and small entrepreneurs.

Hon. Samuel Kwame Agyekum has caution the youth at GYEKITI to avoid in drugs ” Marijuana, Tramol” Mr. Samuel Kwame Agyekum has urged the youth, unemployed as well as the underemployed persons in Asuogyaman to take advantage of this opportunity to better their lives.
