WHOLE SALE RECRUITMENT OF POLICE IS THE CAUSE OF RAMPANT INDISCIPLINE- OMANBA PA VOWS

The chief executive officer for Omanba pa foundation, Mr. Ernest Y Dankwa has attributed the cause of police indiscipline to what he terme as ” whole sale recruitment “.

In an interview today with the press,he chide the Inspector general of police for not doing thorough background investigation into peoples families before recruiting them.

” Proper background check must be done before recruiting personnel into the police service, some may be armed robbers ,wee smokers and stuff, but we only do whole sale recruitment ,which is the cause of the irresponsible behaviours we are seen now”, he emphasized.

In addition, he appealed to the government to ensure such search are been done before picking people for police , suggesting this can help reduce such indiscipline acts of some personnel.
