E/R: FAMILY ON THE RUN AS DEAD BODY APPEARS FROM A ROOM.

The family of Mr. Baakye Kwabena took on their heels when Mr. Baakye said to be dead woke up and came out of his room singing.

Mr. Kwabena Baakyi suffered serious sickness and was taken from Bunso in the Eastern Region (his hometown) to a herbalist at Bonwire -Asonomaso in the Ashanti Region for treatment.

He stayed there for some months with his wife and a sister for a while.

According to a family member, Wɔfa Kwadwo, their 52years old Kwabena Baakyi was gaining health where they had a call from the priest that he has kicked the bucket.

“With gnash and grief, we contributed to hire ambulance to convey the body to from Asante Bonwire to Osino Morgue in order to plan for the Burrier”. Wofa narrated.

He continued that, they took the ambulance there, many family members were crying and wailing, while talking to the priest outside to show them where the Corpse has been deposited, Mr. Kwabena came out of the room singing “Metease na menwu yɛ” literary “I am not dead, I am alive”

The Agona family were in a state of shock and most of them took to their heels, he narrated

Mr. Kwadwo added that, the family returned to Bunso -Nsutam with empty ambulance only to tell the Ananse story to the awaiting family members under the mounted canopies.

Speaking to Mr. Baakye and the traditional herbalist at Bonwire, Mr Baakye explain that, he deliberately mislead the family because, from the day he was sent to the herbalist, no family member visited.

“Nobody visited or even called me to check on me from the day I was brought here but upon hearing my death, they have been able to gather huge amount to hire Ambulance to convey my body. I am not dead” he lamented.

He continued that, his family love the dead than the living.
