PLANTING FOR FOOD AND JOBS: NANA ADDO NEEDS TO BE COMMENDED – DCE APPEALS.

The District Chief Executive Officer for Dormaa East of the Brong Ahafo Region,HON EMMANUEL KOFI AGYEMAN, has commended H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo led NPP government for the implementation of the Planting for Food and Jobs.

Speaking to the press during WAMFIE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH 100 years celebration as a guest speaker, the outspoken District Chief Executive emphasized how the policy had directly brought enough food on the Ghanaian Market.

“Planting for export and rural development- free distribution of 205,700 cashew seedlings to farmers this year. Process of raising 500,000 coffee seedlings for free distribution to farmers next year has started at 3 nursery sites at Mewerefiriwuo, Kesepa and Akontanim” he hinted.

” The Assembly together with central government would want to raise 500, 000 cashew seedlings to be distributed for free to farmers next year” he added.

Honourable Emmanuel Kofi Agyeman also expressed concern about the One District, One Factory(1D 1F) as his constituency enjoys “two approved factories” Egg crate factory and Poultry processing factory.
