GOVERNMENT HAS NOT BEEN FINANCIALLY FAIR TO REGIONAL CREATION– FORMER WESTERN REGIONAL MINISTER.
The former western regional minister who is currently the western regional coordinator for the former president John Mahama 2020, hon. Paul Evans Aidoo has vow government negatively over the financial and logistically neglects of the new regional creations across the country.
In an exclusive interview with liberty news Nana Yaw preko, Hon. Evans Aidoo said government through the ministry of regional reorganisation and development which is in charge of the new regions yet to be created sent budget to parliament which was approved and that they would have involved themselves and at least provide some financial and logistics emphatically t-shirts, posters and other campaign materials which would have enhance the campaign activities of the various proposed regional creation Secretariat.
He therefore call on government to make logistics available to ensure that every single voter is not left out of this important and historic exercise.
According to him, the creation of the new regions will bring development to those affected areas and that all must positively support the move irrespective of ones political affiliation to vote YES when the time is due most especially western North.
That notwithstanding, Hon. Evans urge the electoral commission EC to be up and doing, make necessary arrangements in other not to destruct the voting processes at the various polling centers. He add up that voting is a constitutional right of all Ghanaians with the age of 18 yeas and above with sound mind and that charged national commission on civic education NCCE to play their part well to avoid disenfranchise.
