A/R: MEF CHAIRMAN BLAME JOURNALIST ON FALSEHOOD REPORTS ABOUT ZONGO COMMUNITIES

It is believed that most Ghanaians have bad mindset about Zongo Communities as the area of violence and intimidation. Some of the reports mostly condemned by the Muslims leaders as falsehood informations but still spread till further interventions.

On the basis of such perceptions, the Chairman for Muslims Exercutives Foundation in Ashanti Region Alhaji Musah Abubakar has descend on journalists blaming them about how they reports on Zongo issues.

According to him, Zongo stands for peace but whenever anything happens in Zongo Communities the madia platforms took it differently as compared to the Ashanti’s.

He noted that, most of Zongo incidents spread quicker in the airways and describe as very scary due to the false report by the journalist, they used to fueled every small incidents as disaster whenever it happens in Zongo which is very discriminative that need to be addressed urgently.

Alhaji Musah Abubakar who is also a CEO of Basfam Enterprise finally added that, Muslims clergies have putting in much efforts to make peace prevail in their areas and again violence eradication is underway to live peaceful life within Zongo communities and urges media’s to give vivid reports on anything that will happen but not anything else as we have entered into 2019, he added.
