The organiser for the Ashanti regional small scale mining,Mr Kwaku Duah,has expressed worries over lack of social amenities in the mining sector, thus calling on government, authorities to come to their aid, so as to alleviate the suffering of the people.

According to Mr K.Duah, urged the government to deem it necessary to focus on the rapid infrastructural development in the mining sector.

And however lamented that, police charged them high unacceptable fees over lowbird loading.

“The association have been neglected of provision of loan to support the businesse.

A situation the ministry is supposed to have done everything possible to address without delay”
