His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo has given families of the 7 Asawase Zongo men that some Kumasi Police Officers mistook for armed robbers and shot them dead GHC250,000 each as compensation for their lose.
Adom FM’s Kumasi Correspondent Nana Awuku reported on their midday news that the president noted that he arrived at that decision after engaging in talks with the Inspector General of Police and other key stakeholders.
Meanwhile the police officers who shot these men are on suspension for committing such heinous act.
